Giant Backyard Spider

A few days ago, this metal arachnid-like contraption carefully tread its way through the yard and between trees at the back of the yard. The night was haunted with howling winds and thumps of branches falling out of trees, but no significant damage was done. However, the trees took a beating as they usually do.
