The Warm Before the Storm
Winter’s chill was replaced by springlike weather, and the flowers of this flame vine burst forth in their glory. Cold, stormy weather is fast approaching with freezing temperatures expected once again, but these hardy plants should be able to weather the chill. I certainly hope so. #flamevine #winter #freezing
Pineapple Bivouac
A makeshift shelter of cloth covered our pineapple plants while temperatures plummeted to freezing through the night. Lamps provided some warmth to prevent frostbite of the precious plants. It has always worked before, so I think their prospects are bright. #pineapple #frostbite #freezing
