Been There, Pecked That

A dead tree provides life-giving nourishment to this piliated woodpecker. Obviously this isn’t the first time at this tree. The bird alternately listened and pecked here and there, frequently finding morsels of food. Monkey Doodle Dandy

During our morning walk through the neighborhood, we discovered this monkey figure swinging in a tree.
