The past weekend was spent in Saint Petersburg Beach, Florida, attending “TBUG,” which stands for Tampa Bay Ukulele Getaway. It was lots of fun with a bunch of old pluckers, and some young ones struming up a storm and feeding their inner “ukulele bug.”
The photo above shows another sort of “ukulele bug.” The little green critter was spotted on my pantleg while I was strumming on a green Waterman ukulele outdoors, and I just had to get its photo of the bug and its shadow on my ukulele.

The man with a ukulele bug playing a green ukulele has his very own green bug. How serendipitous is that?
