Once Upon a Camper

1961, Dad and I ready to go on another camping adventure.,

As a kid I loved to go camping with family and friends, especially to Colorado and the mountains. We also camped along various local parks and rivers in Nebraska where I grew up. It started off in a tent, and later, dad designed and built this camp trailer that served us very well. We had many adventures, but the one that most vividly stands out in my mind occurred along the Middle Loup River at Nebraska National Forest near the town of Halsey. It was there that I learned what it feels like to fly, albeit briefly. See: https://eskildoodle.com/over-the-bridge/
