Trick or Treat?

Home for the Holidays

The sun rises at different times around the world, treating travelers to a jet-lagged trick on return home. Six hours separate our body clock from the clock of the time zone we just left, and mind and body struggle against the sleep-wake cycle to make any sense of it. While readjusting to the time zone at home upon return is the trick played on travelers, it is the memory of places seen, friends made, and friendships renewed which is the treat that makes it all worthwhile.
