Twenty years ago today, we “landed” in Florida for good. Actually we drove, and did not fly, and the trek brought us from Washington state all the way across the continent to central Florida. A cold front followed us then overtook around western Wyoming where slick roads made driving hazardous, but we made it in good shape. We are very happy to be here and are glad we did not come later. Should we have come sooner? I doubt it; we came here at the right time for the right reasons.

If you had moved to Florida sooner, your friends in Washington would have missed out on some great times with you.
