Atlantic Dawn

Sunrise at Sea

Soft twilight crept between the curtains to tickle my eyelids and entice me out on the baclony while on the way home from the Caribbean. Gold-burnished clouds hearlded the approaching sunrise which followed minutes later. Then, like someone hiding from view until they’ve had their morning coffee, the sun temporarily ducked behind the clouds, before returning again to brighten the morning. It was a charming way to start our last day at sea.
