The moon makes the barest dent on the first image on the upper right of the composite, then continues its way in front of the sun, like a willful child standing in front of the TV, before exiting on the lower left of the image. The photos were taken through a special purple filter that shows details of the sun better than in ordinary light. Now the eclipse is over, and this is my parting shot.
