The seed in the feeders is going down nearly as fast as the setting sun. Goldfinches, sparrows, chickadees, cardinals, and a host of other birds have been jostling for dining space at the feeders. Now all is calm, but come sunrise another feeding frenzy will commence, much to our delight.
