Clouds and showers alternating with fleeting sunshine dampened the day until sunset. As the sun lowered towards the horizon it set the clouds ablaze in a way that made me think of the glowing lava flows that built this island eons ago. I could not help but wonder that such a hellish beginning could lead to such a heavenly scene.
