Great Expectations

Plumeria Big and Small

The little plumeria in the blue pot looked like a dry, dead twig when we bought it several weeks ago, streaked with pink and yellow paint. It was simply stuck in some sandy soil from the backyard that looked as dry as the twig. No water was added either, per instructions, to avoid root rot. As if resurrected, it has finally sprouted leaves and hopes to grow up like its big brother in a few years. We expect that it will produce yellow and red blossoms as early as next year. Wouldn’t that be great?
