The glow of the Harvest Moon peered through tree branches as it rose steadily upward from the horizon just after sunset. Though its light is no longer needed to stretch the hours of light to aid in bringing in the crops, the sight of it is still as as nourishing to the soul as the harvest that the moonlight so critically aided in times past was to the body.
