“Red in the morning, sailor take warning” applies to landlubbers as well. Our morning walk was cut short by rain precipitated by an approaching cold front. A short time later the rising Sun briefly painted the sky red, and the weather radio warned of a tornado watch for the area until 4 PM. Soon the clouds completely closed in and dropped over an inch of rain through the day. Fortunately, no tornadoes formed and the water was welcomed by a dry ground scape, but we did miss getting to complete our full walk. Maybe tomorrow.
