Full Dawn

Today’s full Moon setting just before sunrise.

Faint dawn twilight began to brighten the bedroom as I rolled over to snooze just a few minutes more. “Don’t they pick up yard waste today?” said a distant voice that somehow crept into my consciousness. Oooohhh! Yep, I had to get up and get the containers to the street before they came to pick it up.

On the way back to the garage, this morning’s full Moon winked at me between trees as it hovered above the western horizon. Was it laughing because I had just gotten out of bed, and it appeared to be getting ready to sleep? Doesn’t matter because the sight of the Moon turning orange in the dawning light made it worth the effort of getting out of bed.
