“If you build it, they will come,” a fantasy baseball movie once declared. This certainly applies to water. A beautiful backyard koi pond is also the home to mallard ducks that help themselves to this private pool. This is certainly more delightful than the alligators that we would find in nearly every body of water in Florida. Fortunately in this case, gators don’t much like Washington weather.
