Reflecting the Season

Ukulele and Banjolele in the Rays of the Setting Sun

Rays from the setting sun shine and reflect across the southern wall of the music room this time of year. This only happens close to the summer solstice, which occurs on June 21 this year, when the sun rises and sets as far north along the horizon as it ever gets. It’s a sure sign that its “summertime and the livin’ is easy.” (George Gershwin)
