Spray painted symbols and letters have appeared throughout the neighborhood ahead of the installation of the new fiberoptic cables. My favorite is this “HI” on a sidewalk that we travel most days of the week. While it has something to do with the installation of new infrastructure, I prefer to think it as a cheery greeting by the sidewalk, welcoming us back during our morning walkabouts.
