Trenched, Bored, and Filled

Before and After

Paint and flags marked vital utility cables including electrical, telephone, and gas lines, in preparation for fiberoptic cables to provide our new internet connection. After a couple of weeks, crews dug short trenches across the community yards, bored tunnels connecting them and placed the underground conduits for the cables. Then they filled in the trenches, removed the flag markers, and carefully replaced the grass in our yard in less than 24 hours. It was amazing; I just hope that after the fiberoptic internet is connected it will be as impressive—and faster, of course.
