Guardian Gator

This 8-10 foot long alligator appeared from seemingly nowhere near the margin of the lake. It commanded our attention as it appeared to guard the waters below, and we were quite happy to be on a boardwalk high over the water rather than walking a trail by the water’s edge. #alligator #boardwalk

Our Lady of the Cypress

This appears to be natural sculpting by the bark of the cypress tree, not a carving, but if someone actually modeled for this woody sculpture, they definitely have had too much collagen injected into their lips. #cypress #silversprings
