May Flowers from April Showers

A simple trip to the store brought home an unexpected burst of beauty for our yard. The lovely hydrangea caught our attention and found a way into our cart along with groceries. I suspect the plant will last much longer than the groceries.

Reflecting On Brunch

This time of year, the roadsides are bursting with color, almost to the point of distraction. But what a lovely distraction.

Moon in a Room

Before the Plague we visited the British Museum of Natural history in London. This morning on our walk we saw the above spectacle, a rare alignment of the planets along with the Moon. Next month, Mercury will join the parade as well. A Butterfly Flew By

While I was tending to the yard a large, yellow butterfly flew by and landed on a nearby bush. It brightened my day and obligingly allowed its photo to be taken before it flip-fapped away on its merry meanderings.
