The orange glow from the coming sunrise penetrated the trees to cast golden light through the transom window above the front door. This rare sight lasted just long enought for me to get a photo and then it was gone, but it will never be forgotten. #sunrise #dawn

Orion Dawn
The faintest rays of sunlight reveal thin clouds over Orion in the lower central photo. Mars is the brightest point of light on the upper right part of the image. Electronic technology makes this possible; with a regular camera, a hand held photo like this would just show steaks of light. #orion #dawn
Glow or Glower?
This curious patch of orange appeared in the eastern sky just before sunrise. It appeared not only beautiful but, also somewhat ominous, considering that it is hurricane season. Perhaps it was just a Rorschach test for the amusement or the trepidation of anyone who happened to notice its brief apparition.
