After a recent, refreshing rain, the setting sun turned the sky into a glowing gold more precious than any metal that can bought or sold. #rain #sunset #gold #glow

They arrived around Christmas, little birds dull brown in color. They were distinguishable only by their wing markings. During our recent visit to Ketchikan, Alaska, I bought this gold nugget that had come from Poker Creek near the settlement of Boundary, Alaska, not far from the Yukon Territory.
