The sticker in the middle of the back window of this vehicle caught my eye while I was waiting at a stoplight. Methinks the little “apples” may have not fallen far from the tree.

On the Wings of Eagles
During a recent morning walk, the weather gods stirred the sky with evocative cloud images. At first it looked like the wing of a giant bird stretched upwards from the horizon. However, as I pondered longer, an eagle’s head began to appear on the lower left. Perhaps it is both wing and eagle combined inContinue reading “On the Wings of Eagles”
Out-of-this-world
A cloud-veiled Moon gazes down upon Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge at the Hollywood Studios where the Millennium Falcon waits ready for its galactic quest. Imagination soars to transport visitors far beyond Earth and leaving a behind bewildered Moon in an out-of-this-world setting. We were treated by family members to an after hours park experience for DisneyContinue reading “Out-of-this-world”
Shady Lady
Tucked securely under a leaf, this double hibiscus was well protected from showers passing through and brightened our rainy day.

Happy Hibiscus

Old Dog, New Tricks?

All Shook Up

Must You?
He’s back. Though recently evicted, this pesky frog took up a defiant reoccupation of the birdhouse meant for wrens. I would consider having him tarred and feathered if the presence of feathers would not heighten his sense of entitlement to this avian accommodation.
It’s Among-us
It’s several, not just one fun-gi! Nerd Note: Thanks to fungi and other wood-eating organisms, carbon is recycled back into the biosphere rather than accumulating as piles of wood and cellulose and eventually being buried and turned in to coal as happened during the Carboniferous Period approximately 360 to 300 million years ago. At theContinue reading “It’s Among-us”
