They look beautiful and appear to be ripe but none of the birds have eaten any, perhaps for good reason, so I don’t think we should either. #berries #birds #spring silvers pings

Spring Light Sunrise
Fingers of sunrise seem to poke and prod from curious directions as the Sun moves northward towards spring, making the days longer. Here it sparkles in window decorations above the door and casts tinted light on the adjacent wall. Another free, morning delight. #sunrise #spring #windows #sunlight
Just Ignore the Groundhog
The rotund little rodent got it wrong again. It was groundhog’s day yesterday and Phil predicted six more weeks of winter. Tell it to this azalea. Of course, the goofy groundhog is much farther north and is afraid of its own shadow, so he missed the sunshine and warm weather here. Yep, spring is inContinue reading “Just Ignore the Groundhog”
And Now They’re Gone

Showers and Flowers
April has brought its share of showers; nearly 3.5 inches of rain has dropped already and the flowers are loving it!
Pool Time

March-April Showers
April showers may bring May flowers, but this is March, which is Florida’s version of April and May.
Spring Sprung
Spring in full bloom a week before the equinox, YAY!
Springing to Life
While on our walk in the Cross Florida Greenway yesterday we discovered spring in full bloom, even though farther north, the country is still in winter’s grasp. Now I know the answer to the question I often heard while growing up in Nebraska this time of year: W-w-w-why w-w-w-would anyone ever w-w-w-want to m-m-m-move toContinue reading “Springing to Life”
The Great Panzini
A lovely pansy blooms on the cusp of spring. YAY, bring it on!
